THE CIVIL CASE AGAINST THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT IS FINALLY PROCEEDING.

New Developments  Unprecedented Charges  WHO IS RESPONSIBLE?  Summary of Terrorism Case  The Terrorism Case
THIS WAS NOT A BOTCHED TERRORISM TRIAL!

2 JURIES HAVE CONVICTED THESE TERRORIST. THE FIRST ONE IN THE KOUBRITI TRIAL, AND THE SECOND ONE IN THE TRIAL AGAINST RICK CONVERTINO AND RAY SMITH.

IT IS TIME FOR RICK CONVERTINO TO GET THE RECOGNITION HE DESERVES FOR PROSECUTING THIS CASE UNDER IMPOSSIBLE CIRCUMSTANCES.

IT IS TIME FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE KOUBRITI CASE WAS OVERTURNED AS A RESULT OF THE MISCONDUCT BY INDIVIDUALS IN THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT WHO WERE INVOLVED IN THE RETALIATORY EFFORTS AGAINST RICK CONVERTINO.

Noel Hillman, former head of the Public Integrity Section during the time when the tainted investigation of Convertino and the cover-up occurred.

I HOPE THERE WILL BE A CONGRESSIONAL INQUIRY INTO THE TRUE REASONS OF HOW AND WHY THE DETROIT TERRORISM SLEEPER CELL CASE WAS OVERTURNED.

CRAIG MORFORD

Currently running the Justice Department as Acting Attorney General.

As the Detroit News points out, "Rosen's findings were based in part on a report by Craig S. Morford, then a federal prosecutor in Ohio called in as a special U.S. Attorney to review the terrorism case, and now the nation's acting deputy attorney general. Morford did not respond Thursday to an e-mail seeking comment."

Judge Rosen overturned valid terrorism convictions based on Craig Morford's and AUSA Eric Straus' recommendation.

I HOPE CRAIG MORFORD'S ROLE IN THE RETALIATION AGAINST RICK CONVERTINO AND THE TRUE REASONS FOR OVERTURNING THE TERRORISM CONVICTIONS WILL BE EXAMINED.

AUSA ERIC STRAUS took over the Koubriti case in September 2003 after Rick Convertino was removed in retaliation for his testimony in front of the Senate Finance committee.

There has been prosecutorial misconduct in this case; but not by Rick Convertino.

AUSA Eric Straus was given the terrorism case to ruin and his actions and motives need to be examined.

Read an article published in U.S. News and World Report about how Eric Straus tried to sabotage the Detroit Terrorism trial while it was in session:
"The On Again, Off Again Terrorist"

Jon Tukel

First Assistant Jon Tukel was sent from D.C. to head up the effort to silence and retaliate against Rick Convertino.

An investigation needs to be done into his actions that resulted in the overturning of terrorism convictions and the malicious prosecution of Rick Convertino.

Robert Cares, former Chief of the Counter Terrorism Unit in Detroit.

Cares is now just an AUSA in that office. The first big terrorism case in Detroit was tried by attorneys from the Organized Crime and Racketeering section and not the Terrorism Unit.

WAS THIS THE REASON FOR HIS JEALOUSY AND ATTEMPTS AT SABOTAGE?

GLENN FINE
INSPECTOR GENERAL

Alan Gershel, former First Assistant and Criminal Division Chief for the Eastern District of Michigan and now just Criminal Division chief.

He was Criminal Division chief for the entire time Rick worked at the Detroit office.

Barry Sabin, former Chief of the Counterterrorism Section of the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice in Washington D.C., now a US Attorney in Florida.

I HOPE HIS INVOLVEMENT IN THE RETALIATION AGAINST RICK WILL BE EXAMINED.

USA Stephen Murphy

Remarks made by U.S. Attorney Stephen Murphy about Eric Straus, the AUSA who was responsible for overturning the terrorism case:

"..while I often hear people say that the judge threw out the convictions; it was AUSA Straus who was part of the team that made the excruciating decision to move to dismiss the indictment, it was Straus who helped write the brief..."

"It is no surprise he was brought onto Koubriti by top DOJ brass."

Former AUSA Jeffrey Collins

Involved in the retaliation against Rick Convertino which ultimately led to the overturning of the Koubriti case.

Former Attorney General John Ashcroft

He is named as the first defendant in the lawsuit that Rick Convertino filed in March 2004 against the Justice Department.

Not surprisingly, the Justice Department initiated a criminal investigation against Rick in April of 2004.

GUY LEWIS

4 YEARS AND MILLIONS OF DOLLARS LATER (TIME AND MONEY THAT COULD HAVE BEEN SPENT GOING AFTER TERRORISTS)THE TRUTH IS FINALLY STARTING TO COME OUT.

WE ENCOURAGE AN INQUIRY INTO WHAT HAPPENED HERE IN DETROIT.
